Gorgeous Persian Sofreh Aghd at an Historical Atlanta Venue with Parkside Charm

This Atlanta wedding took place in an historical venue that was originally built in 1905 as horse stables in Piedmont Park. The existing Stone Mountain granite walls were softened with climbing greenery and delicate white garden roses to serve as the stunning garden backdrop for the sofreh aghd.

What is a #sorfeh? It’s a Persian wedding ceremony tradition; meaning a table or a “spread.” In a Persian wedding, the ceremony area, including a stage or table, is covered with delicious delicacies and beautiful decorative items, each with its own particular symbolism for the marriage.​​​​​​​​

The 9th Annual Scrubs Party for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) supports the Behavioral and Mental Health Initiative at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. This signature event took place on April 30, 2022 at the Stave Room at American Spirit Works (ASW) and raised over 1 million dollars to help children build resilience and healthy strategies to deal with anxiety and stress.

They are #raisingresilience and the Topher Mack Floral & Events team are so honored to be a part of such a critical mission.

This Atlanta wedding mixes traditional elegance with Southern charm. From the ceremony that took place at one of Atlanta’s most beautiful churches, St. Phillips Cathedral, to the majestic reception at the Piedmont Driving Club, every detail was carefully curated and executed. Textural floral in tones of white accented by luscious greenery complemented the dusty blue accents seen throughout Sarah and Trent’s wedding weekend where love was in full bloom. Showstopping floral and greenery created visual eye candy through the space… and I haven’t even mentioned the cake table “linen”, created from fresh greenery by the #TopherMackATL team, yet.
